BOYS: SECTION 3 PREVIEW
Section 3 is the section of the people. This is the most fun section for sure because of its competitive balance. There are a lot of good teams. No sure fire favorite. And, the lower end of this section is ripe for an upset at any moment. If you don’t have a horse in the race, this might be the section tournament to follow for pure entertainment value.
Woodbury (12-3)
A team that was at or near the top 10 all season last year. In a season, admittedly, I thought they would take a step backwards being “hooley-less”, they proved otherwise and are one of the most disciplined and consistent teams in the section. Unfortunately their return to state fell short to the streaking raiders in the playoffs.
