Girls Nightly Recap: April 13

We guess the weather was decent for lax today…

Cretin-Derham Hall 13 @ Mahtomedi 6

We don’t have a whole lot here. The players you’d expect to score did (Watts and Rosga). CDH’s goalie is a 2029 (7th grade) and held Maht to 6 goals…so that is something to keep on eye on.

Rosemount 8 @ Bloomington Jefferson 6

Can Rosemount bounce back against a very plucky Jaguar team? Yes they can and Jefferson did prove to be plucky.

Grand Rapids/Greenway 1 vs Gentry Academy 15

Gentry took care of business against GRG.

Stillwater 11 @ Prior Lake 13

Definitely game of the day and maybe game of the week…

We got a little bit of intel from the P-Macs: PL jumped out to an 11-2 lead and then almost wasted way the entire thing as Stillwater spent the last 3/4 of the game marching back. PL…probably good. Stillwater…also probably good. Might not have been the way we thought it would get there, but we all got to a close game.

East Ridge 8 @ Lakeville South 11

Watched this game on their stream.

After Q1, South was up 2-1 and at half was up 7-1…seemed to be in complete control of the game.

They were up 8-1 and then ER scored 6 unanswered goals, to cut the lead to 8-7. They traded goals in teh 4th and South score a goal basically as time expired to win 11-8.

Tori Tschida dominated at the draw again - no surprise there. ER sdtarted a little sloppy, but righted the ship very nicely against the favorite.
