GIRLS Top 20 Preview: #19 Woodbury
Reminder: our list is based off of the laxnumbers ranking list…here.
Shout out Woodbury - we love it when you don’t enter in the grad years. Luckily…we keep a lot of info and can make up for some of your sins. Speaking of sins, Uncle Ted made a new rule that if teams don’t bother to enter their into into MN Lax Hub, we don’t talk about them…so we are kinda creating our own sin here. Anyway, if you want us to talk about your team more, help us be able to talk about your team more. Or maybe Woodbury doesn’t want anyone promoting their team.
What They Were
8-8, 73.25 Lax Number Rating against a 72.75 Lax Number Schedule.
#5 seed in Section 3. They lost to #3 CDH 12-9 in the section final.
What They Lost
We don’t have all of the grad years…but we know they lost a TON of their production to graduation.

Olivia Mishacoff - A: 10g/43a/53 points

What They Have Looking Forward
Their full Suburban East Conference schedule, along with non conference games against The Hedge Fund (St. Croix Prep), Hill-Murray, and Visitation.
Our Take
Yo. They had 4 players with more then 5 points…and 3 of them aren’t in high school anymore. That is A LOT of production available. Shelby Marik is a great player (shout out CSP), but that is a lot to put on her shoulders. Obviously, needs some of the younger squad to step up to relieve some pressure.
Peyton Feigal has been in the cage for a few years and is one of the 2025 goalies to keep an eye on for Ms. Goalie (there are low key a lot).
Anyway, they are part of the Section 3 gong show and might have The Hedge Fund breathing down their necks for the 5 seed, but like the past two seasons…it would be stupid to seed Section 3 now.
