Top 5 foods at Thanksgiving

DTA Nation,

Happy Thanksgiving! I will speak for everyone at DTA and say we are thankful for all of you in #DTANation. You all keep us motivated to keep this thing going, to keep ranting, to keep making the MN Lacrosse content you NEED.

To stay on task and give you a rant, we are talking food. We are talking stuffing our faces. We are talking food comas. We are talking the biggest meal of the year, and that is thankgiving. Everyone has their favorites. They got their traditions. And we love to fight about what the best thanksgiving dishes are and arent and that is exactly the conversation I am here to start. Here is P-Mac’s top 5 Thanksgiving dishes.

5. Gravy- Can this be a dish? It’s going to go on pretty much everything that I am going to eat on Thursday.

4. Pumpkin Pie- Honestly I don’t really eat pie any other time of the year. Maybe that’s normal? I’m not sure, but on Thanksgiving all bets are off. Give me the pumpkin. Give me the apple pie with some vanilla ice cream. Bring over a chocolate peanut butter something mixed pie. But don’t you dare bring a key lime pie. Those should be illegal.

Worst Thanksgiving Dish- Cranberries….Leave them at your home, don’t need these on my table, in my house, or anywhere near my plate.

3. Mashed Potatoes- I hope these don’t need too much of an explanation. These are essential on Thanksgiving.

2. Rolls- I know this isn’t a dish, but I need rolls and a lot of them. I am dipping these in gravy filled sides, making sandwiches, or just dousing in butter. All options will do. Special shoutout to Kwik Trip Rolls, if you aren’t going to make home made rolls, go to Kwik Trip and get there’s, you won’t regret it. You’re welcome.

  1. Stuffing- This is above the rest for me and it’s not really close. I love stuffing and it’s all I am going to be doing on Thursday. Give me stuffing or give me death on thanksgiving.
