Ok…so this is a 2025 heavy team, you say?  Well…yes, but not so fast.

The Future

Rosemount has 2 more years of, hopefully, a bunch of their huge 2025 production.  But there were only 6 players rostered last year from the 2023 and 2024 classes.  Digging deeper…they had (6) 2026s and (2) 2027s on their roster…and those aren’t their 2 heralded 2027 sisters each coming off of injury.  So the future looks exceptionally bright for the Rosemount Irish. 

Its really too bad that Mills transferred to Lakeville South – they’re still going to make a lot of noise this year and next…but imagine what it could have been.

Stat Crusade

In our crusade on assist percentage…Rosemount assisted 85/163 goals scored…52.1%!  Whiplash from the past two squads

For the record the past teams were 59.1%, 50.1%, 34.8%, 67.4%, 58.7%, 55.7%, 33.3%, 38.2%, 44.5%, 50.7%, 57.9%, 31.5%, 24.8%, and 52.1% 

2024 Schedule?

SSC seems to have their shit together regarding schedules.

In addition to their SSC schedule, the Irish have Champlin Park, Jefferson, Hill-Murray, Andover, and East Ridge.  Honestly feels like all good competition, which the Irish have a good shot at being favored in.

Interesting Nugget No One is Talking About

OK – so we’ve already talked about this in the Lakeville South write up…but losing your top scorer to the best school in your conference…not a great thing.

Something we don’t know enough about and thus is something no one is talking about…is their former GK, 2024 Lexi Carl, going to play HS this year (and if so, at Rosemount)…last we saw she’s committed to D3 CSB?

In Conclusion

We can tell already, we’re going to be high on Rosemount, with that increasing the next couple of years.  After a down year (8-7 down year), they feel like a double digit win team this year…and back in contention for SSC and Section 6 crowns.  But this isn’t a section preview.
