State champs open on the road. New goalie for BSM, but LOTS coming back on the field. Can Hooley & Company keep up shock the champs?
Rosemount @ Champlin Park: Champlin Park HS, 7:00 PM
SSC going North. Love to see it. If CP is for real, this should be a dub. No messing around for either team, right out of the gate.
Eden Prairie @ Orono: Orono HS, 7:00 PM
We are really glad EP gets a chance to prove us stupid on the first game day of the season. How will our latest “team we picked a year too early” respond to playing against a blue blood?

Moorhead @ Mounds View: Mounds View HS, 7:00 PM
These two teams started the season against each other last year, with Moorhead wining 10-9. Last year up North, this year, down South. Shout out to Spuds for the invite to the DTA squad - does that include us too?
Hill-Murray @ White Bear Lake: White Bear High School, 7:00 PM
We have pumped a lot of positive energy at the Pios of the years. Can the mojo their counterparts on the boys social media side have generated help lift the girls Pios over the White Bear Lake Mercy Titans? Got to keep our eyes open on these two squads.

Farmington @ Minnetonka: Minnetonka HS, 12:00 PM
This is the year for ‘Tonka, but we are hearing of a significant injury for one of their top scorers. Will a plucky Tigers squad catch the Skippers flatfooted after celebrating their school’s dominance in basketball?
Rosemount @ Bloomington Jefferson: Bloomington Jefferson HS, 1:30 PM
Rosemount paying their road dues to start the season. This might tell us a lot about Section 6.
Stillwater @ Prior Lake: Prior Lake HS, 2:00 PM
Best match up of the week. Two teams that should be evenly matched. Will be exciting to see their ‘24s and ‘25s take control of their respective teams.
East Ridge @ Lakeville South: Lakeville South HS, 4:00 PM
Two 2023 state tournament participants. Each team looking to make a statement about how real they still are after their last seasons. Great way to start for the Raptors…the games will only get easier from here - put up a good fight or shock the world and EVERYONE will take notice #DTATop10Poll
