Girls Nightly Recap: April 12

Friday Night Lights are officially here! Full disclosure, we had issues with the few streams we could figure out and those were few and far between. Tomo has a much more manageable stream situation!

Moorhead 6 @ Mounds View 13

The lady spuds have a chip on their shoulder, based on their recent social media posts and their season hashtag (#apointtoprove). They got their chance with a rematch from a tight game against Mounds View last year as they make the trip down to Arden Hills.

Mounds View spoiled the Spuds down to the cities, by weather a very early storm from the Spuds and ended up poured on the coals to win 13-6.

Grand Rapids/Greenway 7 @ Centennial 10

GRG got a little bit of a pop in the previews and Centennial got a little heat, being left off or moved down in their preseason section rankings.

While it was a close game - Centennial defended home turf tonight, 10-7.

Hill-Murray 4 @ White Bear Lake 14

Shout out to the East Side Source for the renewed relationship and feeding us all sorts of East Side info!

This might be a tough year for our Pios. They lost a few players to some of the more local public schools (for a variety of VERY alleged reasons), Frannie is back (but coming off of injury), and they are a young squad. White Bear Lake is no joke, has a a few high performance studs and must have neen a little too much. No other inout tonight, but we aren’t worried about ESS any longer.
