College Lacrosse Early Round(s) Reaction

What a weekend of Lacrosse!!! Personally, I was on the road with the Lakers and we logged some miles going up to Duluth. The boys had a TIME! Got back and dove into some college lacrosse the rest of the weekend as much as I could. Holy smokes, the fans were spoiled this weekend! It seemed like every game was close, no matter the matchup. Let’s take a look at how the first round went, Ladies first.

Women’s Lacrosse Reactions:

  • The Elephant in the room- Stony Brook- Gut wrenching loss to a really solid Loyola squad. It wasn’t their day unfortunately. Too many cards, not enough draw wins, and a goal short. The squad will be back next year no doubt and ready to go on a run.

  • James Madison avoiding the upset…now will they be able to pull one off of their own?

  • Notre Dame going on a RUN…I think BC ends it. Wish Florida was in this game, love the brand

  • U Albany made things interesting, but the favorites prevail.

On to the Men’s- where the heck do I start?!

  • Duke….I almost mushed them. The squeek one out against a HUNGRY Delware team.

  • Michigan (F Michigan) pulls off an upset over Cornell. Duke better be ready to go here

  • Yale made things interesting, thank goodness they lose. Carolyn Baskin ruined the Yale brand for me, glad they are out.

  • Princeton put everything they had on that field, respect. Army pulled it off. Karma is a bitch @ Maryland

  • I’m feeling a Johns Hopkins upset over Notre Dame
