College Lacrosse Playoffs
DTA Nation,
I don’t know why I assume you care who I am cheering for this college lacrosse playoff season, but incase you do, I am gonna tell ya. If you don’t care, feel free to carry on with your day it won’t hurt my feelings. But I know you are begging for lacrosse content to help you kill some time during you work day.
On the gals side because this is easy: STONY BROOK BABY. The sea wolves have been saving their best lacrosse for the playoffs, and it came out in the CAA Championship. I expect nothing less than that type of performance on Friday against Penn State and then we will go from there. Obviously the Big Bad Northwestern Wildcats are our sights, but there’s plenty of work to do before we can start worrying about them.
Non Biased notes on the college gals game-
Northwestern is a problem, obviously being the one seed. Watched them live early in the season, they didn’t just pass the eye test…they are the test.
Cuse is Nasty, but don’t sleep on James Madison out of that group of the Bracket.
BC is obviously a Wagoon but I will be cheering for Florida…such a sick school to have lacrosse. Plus my realtor went to school there, absolute phsyco of an alumni, he should probably sponsor the website.
I expect North Carolina to make it out of that 4th group to memorial day weekend. Love that Marquette is repping the midwest at the tourney, awesome to see!
Now over to the lax bros. If you couldn’t tell, there was a lot of family bias with SB, with my men’s pick there’s going to be bias as well, MN lax bias. Locker room guy bias. Team36 coach bias. This will be the last time ever I will be rooting for Duke and Jadon Kerry to win the ship, then Duke will be back on my hate list. This has nothing to do with them being a blue blood, or them being a 1 seed, or them being the best team in the game right now…this has everything to do that everyone in MN should be cheering for Jadon to get that final check mark on his impressive resume. So get er done J.
Non Bias area of this rant
Jumping to Notre Dame, who is a program I will never cheer for so I suppose take this “non bias” take with a grain of salt. They are a problem. They are an uber ND team, as I say…Notre Dame is Notre Dame. Athletic as hell. Weapons on attack. Mutants on D. This is a team that is built to win and go the distance.
Maryland- I guess this is going to be full of bias and my opinions so I don’t know why I said no bias….I think Maryland is fake news and they are now cursed after #glovegate. Karma is a bitch, and they are going to have to pay for it now. I could see an early exit.
Princeton- watch out, the nerds are heating up.
Virginia- Hate their gear they just dropped but another team that I could see go the distance and win it all…shocker I know
Georgetown- I want to like this team. I think I like this team. I want to love this team. It’ll be a tough path, real tough path. My gut says no, my heart says yes.
Johns Hopkins- I know I was pumping ND earlier, but I think the bottom two brackets are vulnerable. I think I could see Johns Hopkins upset to make it to memorial day. Also Penn state or Princeton as well.
