Prior Lake has a new Head Coach

There are reports coming out of the Prior Lake brass that they have named their new head coach…..

In one of the most, if not THE most, sought after lacrosse jobs in the state of MN this off season, Prior Lake has named Sam Kepner to take over and lead their program. The last decade of success of the program has been well documented, but Coach Kep has quietly been a large part of the success being the Defensive Coordinator since 2018. In that time, they haven’t not made it to the last dance each season. Is that good?

His elite defensive scheme’s, game planning, and good looks are all obvious (do they require a Sr. Pic with your application to get into the University of St. Thomas?)….but he also sports arguably the best shoe game on the sideline all across the state. We have debated the strongest staff at length, but which coach has the strongest shoe game? Is this going to be an emphasis for the entire PL staff moving forward? This is something to keep an eye on moving into the 2024 season.

All jokes aside, congrats to Coach Kep and the Prior Lake program and good luck on the next chapter of the program.
